The idea should ideally take advantage of the fact that people across the world are more similar than they're different. Now, what do I mean by that? I mean that your Idea needs to be able to address the pain of a global audience from Day-1. Why? Because, it blows up the size of the TAM - Total Addressable Market for your Niche and prepares you for hitting scale. This would allow you to do what doesn't scale to start with i.e. your niche but can scale at the rate of knots when the niche has been proven to be viable.
